There is Power in Prayer!

 

Pray for Jerusalem

Dear heavenly Father,

We lift up Jerusalem! We stand in the gap interceding for you people asking you to divinely intervene and send your peace, justice. Deliver you people from evil according to John 17. We praying for the laying down of weapons today. We pray for the safety of your people. We pray oh Lord, that you will will redeem this situation by drawing many to yourself. May the Ukrainians and Russians encounter Jesus as the only true source of peace, safety, comfort, truth, and freedom. I pray the body of Christ will rise up prayer and be unified as one, as you and the Father are one. (John 17) Heal the land of your people today and let there be repentant hearts all of over the world. Let your love move in the hearts of your people like never before. We pray according to your word in Psalms 122: Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces. For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee. Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek thy good.

Prayer for Families and our Nation to be Unified

Dear Heavenly Father,

I thank you for your heart toward families. You have been such an example to us on how we should love you and others. I pray that you will strengthen fathers, mothers, children, and all the many different structures of families and help us by the Holy Spirit to be rooted and grounded in love. I pray according to Ephesians 3: 14-21 for all families:

For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family[a] in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen
